Earlier this month, I travelled to London, England for the BlackBerry Experience Forum. This enterprise-focused roadshow has been travelling around the globe, with recent stops in Dubai, Paris, Australia and Frankfurt. I interviewed some of our enterprise developers and partners who have been showcasing their incredible apps at these events. Throughout my time talking to the developers and partners, I learned that many felt the chance to connect with so many global customers in the partner showcase was a very unique opportunity. Many of the developers and partners travelled together to each location which provided them an opportunity to not only see the world through the eyes of BlackBerry customers, but also network with other global developers and partners to share their BlackBerry success stories.

BlackBerry Travel Now Available on BlackBerry 10

A few weeks back we took a look at some of our favorite, or most anticipated apps for BlackBerry 10 and Melanie M. mentioned that she can’t wait to get BlackBerry Travel on her new BlackBerry Z10. Good news for her (and everybody else who’s picked one up) BlackBerry Travel is now available for BlackBerry 10.

If you’ve been using previous generations of BlackBerry Travel, you’ll know that it is definitely a must have for travelers. I’ve written a few times in the past about how the app makes your life easier while on the go. You can plan, book, manage, and share their travel arrangements with friends, colleagues and on social and professional networks while on the go.

Start Planning Your BlackBerry Live 2013 Experience: The Session Catalog Preview is Available!

As we continue counting down the days to BlackBerry Live 2013, we’ve enjoyed providing you a picture of what to expect at the conference. In the meantime, we’ve also been hard at work on planning the conference breakout sessions. These sessions will be a great opportunity to engage directly with BlackBerry experts and to gain valuable insights especially tailored to your industry or expertise.

Today, we’re thrilled to highlight the official BlackBerry Live Session Catalog Preview to help you get started with your planning. This year, we’ve redesigned the Session Catalog to make the session planning process for attendees as easy as possible: users can search for specific sessions by track, audience, subject matter, or key word. I’m 31 years old and married with two kids aged three and two. I attended Lakehead University for Software & Electrical Engineering, and wrestling (a sport I’m still involved in today as much as possible). I’m a first generation Canadian, both my parents are British born, though they met here.

I like trying new beers, wines and ciders. Whenever the opportunity arises, if I find a meal at a restaurant I enjoy, I go home and try to recreate it and add my own touches. My wife says I like shiny things and blinking lights which I guess draws me to my BlackBerry!
