BlackBerry World 2012 General Session: The Vision for BlackBerry in the Enterprise

Today during the BlackBerry World™ 2012 general session, Robin Bienfait (RIM Chief Information Officer) and Alan Panezic (RIM VP of Enterprise Product Management and Marketing) shared an exciting vision for the future of Research In Motion (RIM) enterprise solutions. Celebrating the successes of the past year, Robin spoke of the launch of BlackBerry® Mobile Fusion, Direct Enterprise Connection, and BlackBerry® Business Cloud Services – enterprise solutions promised at last year’s BlackBerry World conference, and delivered as committed.

As Thorsten Heins stated during the last quarterly earnings call, RIM remains committed to our enterprise customers. We’re designing a tightly focused and dedicated plan to continue to deliver solutions that are scalable, secure, and tailored to specific business needs. In an exciting announcement earlier today, Robin stated that by next year’s BlackBerry World, BlackBerry Mobile Fusion will be offered on-site as it is now, as a hosted and managed solution through partners, or completely in the cloud. Couple this with the evolving concept of a mobile office powered by BlackBerry 10, and the future is certainly bright for enterprise mobility.
