Kick Back with BlackBerry at Truckeroo, Washington, D.C.’s Food Truck Festival!

Event

It’s been an exciting summer in Washington, D.C., for BlackBerry! Over the past few months we have hosted a number of events, including happy hours and BlackBerry Balance street demonstrations, to show how BlackBerry 10 meets the unique needs of government employees and improves workforce productivity and collaboration.

BlackBerry is also providing a shuttle service throughout the month of August for workers commuting into and out of D.C. Our shuttles provide a free and comfortable commute to work, and riders get the opportunity to try out the new BlackBerry 10 devices. So far, we’ve received a lot of great feedback, and we’re thrilled that individuals are learning more about BlackBerry 10 – specifically how BlackBerry Balance makes it easy to keep personal and work data separate and secure.

We’ve really enjoyed chatting with D.C. professionals and hearing what they think about BlackBerry 10. And the best part is, there’s more to come!

BlackBerry is proud to be a part of Truckeroo, a food truck festival in Washington, D.C., on Friday, August 16. It runs from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. ET and is located at the intersection of Half and M Streets, SE. The event is free to attend and features more than 20 food trucks, live music all day, cold drinks and fun games.

BlackBerry will have two different stations onsite where attendees can spend time hands-on with BlackBerry 10 devices, enjoy some free giveaway items, and enter our contest for a chance to win a device. (We’ll be giving away 24 BlackBerry Z10 and Q10 devices throughout the day! Terms and conditions apply, visit us on-site for details) Our BlackBerry shuttle buses will also be there, so you can sit and relax while you check out the BlackBerry Z10 and BlackBerry Q10 smartphones.

We hope you’re as excited as we are for a day filled with good food, good music, and great BlackBerry 10 demos. So whether you’re just stopping by Truckeroo to grab a quick bite for lunch, or you’re coming after work to kick back and relax – stop by the BlackBerry tents and say hello! Also, be sure to let us know you’re there by tweeting @BlackBerry4Biz and using the hashtag #UpgradeMyAgency.
