RSA SecurID Now Available on BlackBerry 10

This week the RSA SecurID Software Token 1.0 was officially made available for BlackBerry 10, enabling you to use your BlackBerry 10 smartphone as your software authenticator. By using a BlackBerry 10 smartphone to generate the one-time password, it eliminates the need for you to carry a separate security token.

Utilizing the same industry-leading time-based algorithm used in RSA SecurID Hardware Authenticators, the RSA SecurID Software Authenticator provides convenient and secure two-factor authentication. The RSA solution provides security conscious organizations with the tools needed to protect valuable information and resources.

Using BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10, system administrators can easily deploy and manage the RSA SecurID solution to the work perimeter. This enables your organization to keep your work and personal applications and information separate to increase security, while not having to restrict device use to only work functions (although organizations do have the option to do this as well).

With the BlackBerry solution for mobile security along with the RSA SecurID authenticators for two-factor authentication, the most security conscious organizations are protected while in the office or while working remotely. If you’d like to learn more, head over to RSA’s blog for the full rundown, or just download the app now.
